Tatrian aster is a Traditional Chinese Medicinal herb, also known as Zi Wan. It has been traditionally used to help with coughing and respiratory issues in many countries such as China, Japan, Korea and Vietnam. Studies have shown that tatarian aster extracts contain terpenes, triterpenoid saponins, organic acids, peptides and flavonoids, and have various pharmacological activities such as antioxidant, antibacterial and antiviral actions.
